Terms of Service
These Terms of Service (the "Terms") set forth the conditions for use of the notification service provided by Flash Reserve –瞬約– (the "Service") and all services incidental thereto. By applying for and/or using the Service, the member is deemed to have agreed to these Terms.
Article 1 Definitions
- “Member” means an individual or entity that applies for the Service in the manner prescribed by the Service after agreeing to these Terms, and whose application is approved by the Service.
- “Notification” means the provision of information sent by the Service to a Member via LINE or email when the Service detects information such as available seats and/or cancellation slots at Eligible Restaurants.
- “Eligible Restaurants” means restaurants handled by the Service as notification targets for which the Service detects information such as available seats and/or cancellation slots, and, as of March 1, 2026, shall be the following 126 restaurants (the number of actual restaurants after removing duplicates).
- “Affiliated Restaurants” means, among the Eligible Restaurants, restaurants that are automatically included as notification targets from the time of application, separately from the restaurants a Member selects under a plan, and shall be the following 10 restaurants. The Member agrees that the Affiliated Restaurants will be treated as notification targets from the time of application regardless of whether the Member wishes to select them.
- “Plan” means a usage configuration categorized by conditions such as notification method (LINE/email) and a cap on the number of notifications.
- “External Services” means third-party services used in connection with providing the Service, including the payment processor (Stripe).
- Eligible Restaurants include restaurants listed on external reservation platforms such as omakase, TableCheck, Pocket Concierge, and KIWAMI 50.
- The same restaurant may be listed on multiple external reservation platforms. The Member acknowledges in advance that such duplication may affect the number of Notifications, display behavior, destination links, and other aspects.

Eligible Restaurants (including Affiliated Restaurants) may be added, changed, or removed at the discretion of the Service for operational reasons.
In such case, the Service will publish the latest list of Eligible Restaurants on the official website or by other appropriate means, and such publication shall constitute an update to these Terms.
Article 2 Description of the Service
- The Service is an information-provision service that detects information such as available seats and/or reservation slots for Eligible Restaurants and notifies Members accordingly.
- The Service does not guarantee that a reservation will be successfully secured. Availability, establishment, modification, or cancellation of reservations shall be governed by the rules of each restaurant and/or each reservation platform.
- Members shall, at their own responsibility and expense, prepare and maintain registration, account management, login status, authentication procedures, and the necessary environment (devices, network connection, email receiving settings, etc.) for External Services that the Service designates or presupposes for use (e.g., omakase, TableCheck, Pocket Concierge, KIWAMI 50, etc.; collectively, “External Reservation Services”).
- The Service does not participate in and makes no warranties regarding any matters of External Reservation Services, including eligibility for registration, screening, account suspension or freezing, login issues, specification changes, outages, displayed content, the success or failure of reservation procedures, or any other matters.
Due to the system environment of omakase, there may be cases where, even if a Member receives a Notification from Flash Reserve-瞬約- and accesses the omakase site via the provided link, the reservation cannot be completed.
To mitigate this risk, Members should register the relevant restaurants as “Favorites” on omakase. Reservations may not be possible from an omakase account that has not added the restaurant to Favorites.
In addition, if omakase issues seat notifications limited to regular customers, the Service may still send a Notification; however, if the Member’s omakase account is not eligible as a regular customer, the Member may not be able to proceed with the reservation. Members shall exercise due caution when selecting Eligible Restaurants in light of this point.
As of now, the restaurants for which omakase provides seat notices only to regular customers are as follows
・Nihonbashi Kakigaracho Sugita (Those who have previously visited via their own reservation are registered as regular customers.)
・Chisaki (Those who have made a reservation via omakase at least once are registered as regular customers.)
・Kabuto (Those who have scanned the QR code at the restaurant are registered as regular customers.) - The Service shall not be responsible for any disadvantages (including account suspension and reservation cancellation) arising from a Member’s violation of the terms or rules of an External Reservation Service.
- The Service will strive to improve the speed and stability of Notifications; however, due to communication environments, changes in specifications of External Services, congestion, outages, and other factors, delays, non-delivery, duplicates, or similar issues may occur.
- During certain periods such as the New Year holidays and Christmas, and in the event of earthquakes, typhoons, heavy rain, other natural disasters, social emergencies, large-scale accidents, and similar events, congestion, restrictions, or outages on the side of telecommunications carriers, LINE, email delivery providers, and other external infrastructure may cause LINE or email Notifications from the Service to be significantly delayed or temporarily not delivered.
- In such cases, the cause is not a defect of the Service’s system itself, and the Service shall not be liable for such delay or non-delivery. Members shall use the Service with the understanding that immediacy may be reduced during such periods or emergencies.
- KIWAMI 50 is a service for which reservations can be made only by American Express Platinum Card members and other persons who satisfy the eligibility requirements set by the External Reservation Service.
Members may, under any plan, register restaurants listed on KIWAMI 50 as notification targets and may receive Notifications; however, Members acknowledge in advance that if they do not satisfy the eligibility requirements, they may be unable to complete the reservation procedure or a reservation may not be established, even if they receive a Notification, and Members shall select notification targets accordingly.
Article 3 Registration
- Members shall register the required information and apply for the Service in the manner prescribed by the Service.
- The Service may refuse to approve an application if the application contains deficiencies or if the Service deems the application inappropriate. The Service has no obligation to disclose the reasons.
- If there are changes to registered information, Members shall promptly update such information in the manner prescribed by the Service.
Article 4 Plans and Fees
- Fees are charged on a monthly subscription basis. Plan names (plan details) and monthly fees (tax included) are as follows
- LINE Notifications (monthly; tax included)
・LINE 1: JPY 5,500 (tax included)
・LINE 3: JPY 16,500 (tax included)
・LINE 7: JPY 38,500 (tax included)
・LINE 12: JPY 66,000 (tax included)
・LINE FULL (Notifications for all restaurants; flat fee even if more are added in the future): JPY 77,000 (tax included) - Email Notifications (monthly; tax included)
・MAIL 1: JPY 2,200 (tax included)
・MAIL 3: JPY 6,600 (tax included)
・MAIL 7: JPY 15,400 (tax included)
・MAIL 12: JPY 26,400 (tax included)
・MAIL FULL (Notifications for all restaurants; flat fee even if more are added in the future): JPY 30,000 (tax included)
- LINE Notifications (monthly; tax included)
- The range and number of Eligible Restaurants a Member may set shall be in accordance with the conditions of the applicable Plan.
- Notwithstanding the preceding paragraph, Affiliated Restaurants (10) shall be automatically included as notification targets from the time of application, separately from the restaurants selected by the Member.
- The number of restaurants in LINE 1/3/7/12 and MAIL 1/3/7/12 refers to the number of restaurants a Member may freely select; the Affiliated Restaurants (10) are added to determine the actual number of restaurants for which Notifications are delivered.
For example, if a Member selects LINE 3 and registers 3 restaurants, the 10 Affiliated Restaurants are added, and a total of 13 restaurants become notification targets (the monthly fee is JPY 16,500 (tax included)).
Similarly, if a Member selects MAIL 3 and registers 3 restaurants, the 10 Affiliated Restaurants are added, and a total of 13 restaurants become notification targets (the monthly fee is JPY 6,600 (tax included)).
LINE FULL and MAIL FULL provide Notifications for all Eligible Restaurants, and all Eligible Restaurants become notification targets.
Even under the FULL plan, after registration, Members shall register their notification settings from the notification restaurant list. It is possible to set all restaurants to be notified.
If a Member wishes to exclude certain restaurants while using the FULL plan, the Member may also disable Notifications for such restaurants from the same list.
Members may not individually exclude or deselect Affiliated Restaurants. - Affiliated Restaurants are selected primarily from restaurants expected to have a low notification frequency—at a level where there may be one seat notification per year—based on past operational results and other factors.
This mechanism is intended to avoid situations where, for example, under LINE 1/3/7/12 or MAIL 1/3/7/12, a Member selects many low-frequency restaurants and receives few Notifications despite paying fees, thereby materially impairing the Member’s convenience and satisfaction.
In general, the difficulty of obtaining a reservation and the number of Notifications tend to be inversely correlated; however, under plans where monthly fees exceed a certain amount, it is not desirable—consistent with the Service’s philosophy—for Notifications to be extremely scarce. From that perspective, the Service provides the Affiliated Restaurants mechanism. - In addition to Affiliated Restaurants, some Eligible Restaurants may also have relatively low notification frequency. As reference information to help Members select notification targets, the Service publishes a “Cancellation Notification List” on the official website so Members can view notification status by restaurant. Members shall select restaurants, and make changes to the breakdown of their notification targets, at their own judgment and responsibility, with reference to such information.
Article 5 Trial
- For first-time applications only, the Service provides a trial period of two (2)days from the application date.
- If a Member cancels during the trial period in the manner prescribed by the Service, no monthly fee will be charged.
- If the Member does not cancel by the end of the trial period, the Service will process the initial payment in accordance with Article 6.
- If a Member changes their Plan during the trial period (including increasing or decreasing the maximum number of restaurants, and including changing the notification method), the trial period will end at the time of such Plan change, and the Service will process the initial payment in accordance with Article 6 (the monthly fee for the changed Plan, including any necessary prorated difference).
Article 6 Payment, Renewal, and Commencement Date
- Payments are processed via the payment processor Stripe.
- After the trial period ends, the first payment will, in principle, be executed by Stripe at approximately the same time window two (2) days after the trial application time (it may vary due to processing circumstances).
- Notwithstanding the preceding paragraph, if the trial period ends pursuant to Article 5, Paragraph 4, the first payment will, in principle, be executed at the time the Plan change procedure is completed (it may vary due to payment processing circumstances).
- If the Member does not cancel in subsequent months, the subscription will renew automatically under the same conditions, and payment will, in principle, be executed in the same time window corresponding to each Member’s commencement date.
- The commencement date is the date and time of the Member’s initial trial application.
Article 7 Plan Changes and Changes to Eligible Restaurants
- Members may change Plans, in the manner prescribed by the Service, within the LINE notification Plans (LINE 1/3/7/12/FULL) or within the email notification Plans (MAIL 1/3/7/12/FULL).
- A Plan change that reduces the monthly fee (e.g., changing from LINE 7 to LINE 3, from MAIL 12 to MAIL 7, or from FULL to any numbered Plan) will take effect from the next renewal date (the next commencement date).
- A Plan change that increases the monthly fee (e.g., changing from LINE 3 to LINE 7, from MAIL 7 to MAIL 12, or from any numbered Plan to FULL) will take effect immediately upon completion of the change procedure.
- If a Member makes a Plan change that increases the monthly fee, the Service will charge, at the time of the change, the prorated difference between the monthly fee of the changed Plan (the amount set forth in Article 4) and the monthly fee of the prior Plan, corresponding to the remaining period.
- Within the maximum number of restaurants for the same notification type (within LINE or within MAIL), Members may change the composition of their notification targets at any time in the manner prescribed by the Service, and such changes will, in principle, be reflected promptly after completion.
- Switching from LINE Notifications to email Notifications, or vice versa, will be treated as selecting a new Plan, and the preceding paragraphs will apply mutatis mutandis depending on whether the monthly fee increases or decreases.
- Even under the FULL plan, Members shall register notification settings from the notification restaurant list. Under the FULL plan, it is possible to set all Eligible Restaurants as notification targets, and Members may also exclude Notifications for specific restaurants at their discretion.
- The timing for reflecting Plan changes and changes to Eligible Restaurants may vary due to system processing status, communication environment, the status of External Reservation Services, and other unavoidable circumstances.
Article 8 Cancellation and Refunds
- Members may cancel the Service at any time in the manner prescribed by the Service.
- Cancellation during the trial period is free of charge. After the trial period ends, cancellation will be reflected as a stop to the next renewal depending on the timing of cancellation.
- Except as required by applicable law, the Service will not refund any monthly fees for which payment has already been completed (as the Service is a monthly information-provision service and operational preparation and provision occur during the applicable period regardless of whether the Member uses the Service).
- Notwithstanding the preceding paragraph, if a clear administrative error on the part of the Service is recognized (such as duplicate charges), the Service will provide refunds or similar remedies within a reasonable scope.
Article 9 Prohibited Conduct
Members shall not engage in any of the following acts in connection with use of the Service
- Acts that violate laws or public order and morals
- Acts of registering false information
- Acts that infringe the rights of the Service, Eligible Restaurants, External Services, or third parties (including intellectual property rights and privacy)
- Acts that interfere with operation of the Service or may do so
- Acts of reproducing, redistributing, selling, or publishing Notification content, screens, text, or other materials without permission of the Service
- Acts that compromise security, such as unauthorized access, excessive load, analysis, or reverse engineering
- Lending or transferring Member status, or impersonating a third party
- Other acts deemed inappropriate by the Service
Article 10 Intellectual Property
All rights in and to any content related to the Service, including text, logos, designs, structure, systems, know-how, and other content, belong to the Service or the rightful rights holders.
Members shall not use such content beyond the scope explicitly permitted by the Service.
Article 11 Handling of Personal Information
The Service will handle Members’ personal information appropriately in accordance with “Handling of Personal Information” and the “Privacy Policy (Personal Information Protection Policy).”
Article 12 Suspension or Interruption of the Service
The Service may suspend or interrupt all or part of the Service without prior notice in any of the following cases
- When performing maintenance, system updates, or emergency responses
- When provision becomes difficult due to outages or specification changes of External Services
- When failures occur in communication lines, power supply, servers, or similar infrastructure
- In the event of natural disasters, epidemics, measures by administrative authorities, or other force majeure
- In other cases deemed necessary by the Service
Article 13 Disclaimer
- The Service makes no warranties of any kind regarding completeness or immediacy of Notifications, accuracy or timeliness of Eligible Restaurant information, or the establishment of reservations.
- The Service shall not be liable for any damages incurred by a Member or third party due to delays, non-delivery, or duplicates of Notifications, or due to a Member’s decisions or actions taken based on Notifications, except where caused by the Service’s willful misconduct or gross negligence.
- Even where the Service is liable, its liability shall be limited to the amount of the monthly fee (excluding tax) paid by the Member to the Service in the immediately preceding one (1) month (except where caused by the Service’s willful misconduct or gross negligence).
- The Service shall not be liable even if a Member is unable to complete reservation procedures or a reservation is not established despite receiving a Notification due to deficiencies in the Member’s registration, login, authentication, payment, communication environment, or similar matters related to External Reservation Services.
Article 14 Suspension or Termination of Membership
If a Member violates these Terms, or if the Service deems the Member inappropriate, the Service may suspend the Member’s use or terminate the Member’s status without prior notice.
In such case, the Service may not refund fees already paid (unless required by law).
Article 15 Changes to the Terms
The Service may revise these Terms in response to legal amendments or operational changes.
The revised Terms shall apply from the time they are published on the website.
If a Member uses the Service after the revision, the Member is deemed to have agreed to the revised Terms.
Article 16 Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Japan. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court as the court of first instance.
